The goal
Score the most points you can across five words.
How to play
Tap letters on the wheel — or type on a keyboard — to spell a word. Press Enter to lock the word in. Press Delete to remove the last letter.
The centre letter (the larger gold one) has to appear in every word.
The shuffle button (next to the wheel) rearranges the outer letters. The centre stays put. Sometimes a new view helps you spot a word.
The chain
Each new word must start with the last letter of the word you just played.
Scoring
Each letter is worth its Scrabble value — the small number in the corner of every tile.
Longer words earn bonus points on top:
- +2 for 6-letter words
- +3 for 8-letter and longer words
- +3 for branching plays (see below)
Example: STARES = 6 letters worth 1 each + 2 bonus = 8 points.
Branching
If your new word contains a doubled letter that matches the previous word's last letter, you can connect via those doubled letters instead of starting the word with them. After a branching play, both ends of the new word stay open for future chains.
Two undos
Once you enter a word it's locked into your chain — until you undo. Tap one of the ↶ undo icons (top-right) to pop off the last word and try a different play. You get two undos per game.
Badges
Earn these for special plays. They show up on your end-of-game screen and in your share message.
